Detectives have charged a man following a police pursuit that occurred in Carseldine overnight.
At 9.15pm, officers were called after a stolen vehicle was allegedly seen driving erratically on the Houghton Highway at Redcliffe.
Police have been able to deflate the tyres and it will be further alleged that the driver lost control of the car before crashing into a tree on Gympie Road in Carseldine.
A 25-year-old Redcliffe man has been charged with three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, robbery, assault occasioning bodily harm and deprivation of liberty.
The man has extra charges following a previous alleged assault at sporting fields at Dakabin on August 1.
He is due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on September 4.

Update: Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, Fitzgibbon
A man has been charged following investigations into an alleged dangerous operation of a motor vehicle in Fitzgibbon last month.
It will be alleged around 12.20pm on Thursday, August 24 the driver of a vehicle evaded a Random Breath Test site on Linkfield Road.
Police will further allege when the driver of vehicle tried to avoid being tested, it travelled towards a male officer forcing him to jump out of the car’s path.
The officer was not physically injured during the incident.
Police located the car abandoned just before 1pm on Highbridge Circuit in Carseldine.
An 18-year-old Ftizgibbon man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving whilst disqualified, driving whilst unregistered/uninsured and fail to stop for prescribed purpose.
He is expected to appear in the Sandgate Magistrates Court on September 25.

Burglary, Brookfield
Police are investigating a burglary incident that occurred at Brookfield overnight.
Preliminary investigations indicate the occupants of a Kintyre Street address returned home this afternoon to find offenders had forcibly entered the residence.
The offenders have removed a sum of cash and jewellery from various rooms within the dwelling prior to leaving the scene with the property.
Investigations are continuing.

Armed robbery, Runcorn
Detectives have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with inquires in relation to the armed robbery of a convenience store at Runcorn today.
Around 10.15am a man entered the Condamine Street store and threatened a female staff member with a knife, demanding cash.
The staff member complied and the man was last seen walking towards Crompton Road.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, medium build, wearing a black jumper and black long pants.

Update: Murder charge, Capalaba
Police have located a man and a woman who were the subject of a public appeal following the death of a 65-year-old man in Capalaba on September 1.
They are both assisting police with their inquiries.
It will be alleged that on September 1, the man had petrol poured on him before being set alight.
A 34-year-old Kooralbyn man has since been charged with his murder.

Zillmere Multicultural festival the place to be this weekend

Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle charge, Herston
Police have charged a man with a number of offences after he allegedly evaded police in Herston last night.
Police will allege a red Holden Commodore collided head-on with a white Holden Malibu sedan that was travelling east along Herston Road after failing to stop for police.
The teenage driver of the Commodore was arrested at the scene.
Police will further allege he returned a positive roadside drug test with a further sample of the man’s saliva having been sent away for analysis.
The driver of the Commodore, a 19-year-old Holland Park man, was charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, fail to stop motor vehicle, drive unregistered motor vehicle, possess utensils, fail to stop at a line before entering intersection and drive across continuous white edge line.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 21.

Earlier today at the Eatons Hill Function Centre, RizeUp Australia held its annual High Tea fundraiser which saw 350 attendees raise in excess of $10,000 to support the many families affected by domestic and family violence.
The funds raised support the work of RizeUp including with the costs of all the incidentals and necessities such as truck hire, storage costs, linen, food and the like to ensure families who flee a violent household have a house that feels like a home and clothes on their backs.
The event, in its fourth year, was again hosted by one of the organisation’s patrons Shelley Craft with special guests, the Honourable Shannon Fentiman, Minister of Communities, Women and Youth, Child Safety and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and journalist Kay McGrath.

Serious assault, Stafford
Police have charged a man following a disturbance in Stafford last night.
At 9:35pm, officers attended a residence on Webster Road where they located an injured woman.
It will be alleged that upon entering the front of the home, a man has tried to stop police by kicking a male Constable in the chest and throat.
It will be further alleged, after attempting to barricade himself inside of the house, the man became aggressive towards the officers as they tried to take him into custody.
The woman and the officer received treatment to minor injuries at the scene.
A 27-year-old Stafford man has been charged with several offences including two counts each of serious assault police, one count of deprivation of liberty and one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
